Right to Cancellation

Internet sales are governed by Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/05 (articles 50 to 68) which regulates matters of 'distance contracts', i.e. contracts concluded outside business premises. This law provides for the right to cancellation, i.e. the possibility for the consumer (meaning the physical consumer who purchases merchandise for purposes that do not refer to the professional activity that the customer may carry out) to return the purchased product and obtain reimbursement of the cost incurred. This right is reserved exclusively for natural persons (consumers), and therefore cannot be exercised by legal persons or natural persons acting on behalf of their professional activities.

To exercise the right to cancellation, notice clearly specifying the will to withdraw from the contract must be sent no later than 1 working day after the merchandise has been received.

To proceed with cancellation, follow the steps below:

Contact Caffè Almetti by telephone or email to agree on a return. Once authorisation is received, send the package to Caffè Almetti – Via Nazionale 69, 40065 Pianoro - Bologna - Italy. The customer shall only be required to cover the cost of returning the item and fees for postage to Caffè Almetti.

In the event of payment using PayPal, the commissions debited to Caffè Almetti (3.5% PayPal transaction fee) shall be deducted from the total amount. The merchandise must be returned unused and in its original packaging, complete with all its parts (including any documentation and accessories: manuals, free gifts, etc.) and without damage within 3 days of receipt of the return authorisation.

In the case of product replacement, the above 'returns' procedure applies, and the buyer shall pay for the new shipping costs.

With the exception of costs for repairing any assessed damage to the merchandise, Caffè Almetti shall reimburse the customer in full within 30 days from the date of return shipment, either by bank transfer or through the automatic procedure provided for by PayPal. It shall be up to the customer to provide Caffè Almetti with any bank details (IBAN) in order to obtain the reimbursement.

Guarantees

All products sold by Caffè Almetti are covered by the manufacturer's official guarantee. To be eligible, the customer must have the invoice received with the purchased products.

Applicable Law

The sales agreement between the buyer and Caffè Almetti is entered into in Italy and governed by Italian Law.
